Properties

DefaultUserCodeType

The UserCodeType used for a client that names none. Defaults to Readable.

public string DefaultUserCodeType { get; set; }

Property Value

string

Remarks

Duende defaults to its nine-digit numeric code, about 30 bits; this server's default has been the twelve character readable one, a little over 51, since 0.23.0, and stays so — a user code names a pending authorization to anybody who guesses it, so the weaker form is opted into per client or here, not inherited.

Interval

The minimum seconds a device should wait between polls. Defaults to 5.

public int Interval { get; set; }

Property Value

int

Remarks

Returned as interval, and enforced: polling faster is answered with slow_down.

Lifetime

How long the user has to approve a device, in seconds. Defaults to 5 minutes.

public int Lifetime { get; set; }

Property Value

int

Remarks

Long enough to walk to another device and type a code, short enough that an abandoned request stops being approvable soon after the user has forgotten about it.

UserCodeParameter

The query parameter carrying the user code on the verification URL. Defaults to userCode.

public string UserCodeParameter { get; set; }

Property Value

string

Remarks

Used to build verification_uri_complete, which a device can render as a QR code.

VerificationUrl

The path the user is sent to in order to enter their code. Defaults to /device.

public string VerificationUrl { get; set; }

Property Value

string
