Class ParsedSecret

Namespace
Fdyay.IdentityServer.Models
Assembly
Fdyay.IdentityServer.Core.dll

A client or API credential taken off a request, before it has been checked against what is stored.

public sealed class ParsedSecret
Inheritance

Inherited Members

Remarks

Parsing and validating are separate so that a new way of presenting a credential — a signed assertion, a client certificate — is a new parser rather than another branch inside every endpoint. Type is what pairs the two halves up: each validator handles the parsed types it understands and declines the rest.
