Properties

Code

The top-level StatusCode/@Value, one of the top-level SamlConstants.StatusCodes; empty when an incoming status could not be read.

public required string Code { get; init; }

Property Value

string

IsSuccess

Whether Code is exactly Success. A second-level code does not change the answer.

public bool IsSuccess { get; }

Property Value

bool

Message

The optional human-readable StatusMessage; null writes none.

public string? Message { get; init; }

Property Value

string

SubCode

The second-level code, nested inside the first (SAML 2.0 core ยง3.2.2.2).

public string? SubCode { get; init; }

Property Value

string

Remarks

The first level says who is at fault; this says what actually happened. A service provider that reads only the first cannot tell "nobody is signed in" from "something went wrong", and those call for opposite behaviour on its side.
